I met Mike Jones in 2021 and this dude has completely changed my life physically.  He changed the way I looked at food and educated me on its true purpose. He challenged me during every workout to give my all which took me back to my collegiate football days at the University of Memphis. We have lost a total of 50 lbs and put my BMI in the healthy range. My doctor was so impressed with my blood pressure and my weight loss. My wife, mother, and boys are so proud of me, they give me purpose and motivation to make it through Mike Jones's killer workouts. Words can not describe the journey I’ve been on for 15 months. I have never been one for working out or actually taking my health and fitness seriously but in May of 2021, a picture of myself made me turn a corner. Grit Grind and Muscle is a great place to lose weight and improve your overall health. I started my fitness journey by walking for an hour every day and then driving to the closest fast-food restaurant.  When I called Mike Jones he said, “You are going in circles, you can’t outwork a bad diet”. He sent me the meal plan. I followed it to the ounce and lost a quick 10 pounds. This was before I even worked out with Mike. Then he said, “Let’s get a workout in.”  He challenged me. The workouts are fun, flexible, and TOUGH. But if it doesn’t challenge it won’t change you. Mike encourages you to do what you enjoy from yoga, boxing, bike riding, etc. So, between fasted cardio, lifting heavy, HIIT training, and a refined nutrition plan, I have lost 38 pounds and thrown my blood pressure pills in the trash. This has been the best decision I have made for my health.

I first started working with Mike Jones the Trainer two years ago. At the time, I was looking to lose weight for my 35th birthday. He helped me to lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks and ultimately gave me the confidence to pursue my dream of becoming a bikini competitor. 


Mike Jones taught me the power of consistency. I have always been a very active person and worked out 3-4x a week. But I wasn't seeing results. What was missing in my life was consistency. I wasn't consistent with my nutrition or intentional with my workouts.


Mike taught me that in order to accomplish anything, you have to be consistent.  I learned proper form and how to train with intention... not just workout. He helped me accomplish my goal of becoming a bodybuilder. With Mike's guidance, I entered my first Bikini competition. I won first place and became a natural bikini pro. Mike is an excellent trainer. He is very knowledgeable and personable. Just tell him your goal and he will push you past your comfort zone to get those results. My life has changed for the better since working with Mike.

Mike Jones the Trainer and Grit, Grind, and Muscle saved my life. About three years ago I was the heaviest I had ever been in my life. The weight of marriage, kids, pastoring and the business of life became literal, and I found myself in a place I promised myself I would never be in. Grit, Grind & Muscle was once something I watched from afar because I thought it would require me to be at a gym. Machines intimidated me when I knew that I had to do them alone. Over the pandemic, Mike Jones The Trainer showed me that the tools I needed to be successful could be found at home and with equipment I already had. One of those tools was being able to discipline myself to change my eating habits and what I thought I already knew.  Grit, Grind & Muscle is more than just a workout business or group. It is a self-transformation type of brand. I added on weight in 2020, but it wasn’t the weight that reflected on the scale. It was the added weight to the bars to build muscles! Down 43 pounds total and all of this took grit and a whole lot of grinding!
